We’re looking for our next Digital Marketing Sales Consultant.

Mars Digital is a full service digital agency based here in New Zealand with the ability to serve clients locally and abroad.  We are passionate about creating digital solutions and delivering results beyond all expectations for our clients.  We are looking for a Digital Marketing Sales Consultant to join our elite team of professionals.

We’re wanting someone with the hunger and drive to succeed.  Preferably someone who can demonstrate knowledge of the digital space, different website platforms and digital marketing techniques.  You don’t need to be a guru but understanding how Google and Facebook Ads as well as SEO work would go a long way.

As a Digital Marketing Sales Consultant with Mars Digital, you will build a self-generated portfolio of clients recommending and presenting digital solutions to them to help them reach their business goals.  You will also look to grow the spend within your existing portfolio each month during regular contact with each of your clients.  You will often be the first point of contact that businesses have with Mars Digital so you’ll need excellent communication skills in order to gain credibility, create rapport and accurately portray what Mars Digital can provide.  In this role you will consistently deal with the decision makers and business owners of the companies in your portfolio, listening to their needs and their goals.  You will pass this information on to one of our Digital Business Analysts who, along with yourself, will create the solution that you will use to formulate a proposal and then present to the business owners and decision makers.

For this role on target earnings (OTE) are $100k+.

In order to be successful as a Mars Digital Digital Marketing Sales Consultant you will need:

  • A professional style and presence, knowledge of the digital industry or the ability to learn quickly, and excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent listening skills along with a good questioning technique.
  • The ability to overcome objections and to clearly identify the current problems and pain points faced by the client.
  • To be assertive, strong and self-assured.  We need someone that can not only show a benefit but close the deal.
  • Always be looking for more.  Your target is only the starting point and with our commission structure, the higher you aim the higher you can fly.
  • The ability to quickly pick up and understand new technologies, marketing strategies, as well as sales approaches and techniques.
  • Strong self-motivation, an excellent work ethic, and a positive attitude.
